many domestic paperboard or carton manufacturers have five or seven layer corrugated paperboard production lines, but after all, the enterprises with these advanced equipment only account for a small part of the national enterprises, while the vast majority of carton manufacturers are unable to update the advanced equipment for the time being due to market, capital, technology and other restrictions, and still retain the single-sided machine, Even a single unit is used to produce cartons (cardboard). Therefore, how to further improve the quality of single-sided machined cardboard and reduce production costs is a common concern of these carton manufacturers

let's discuss the most direct and effective way to reduce production costs

first, make full use of the leftover materials. Now some enterprises, in order to reduce the waste of leftover materials, adopt the method of ordering specification paper. Of course, this method is desirable for stable carton specifications, few varieties, and large batch production of single batch varieties; However, for enterprises with various carton specifications and small production batches, this method will cause greater waste. The general countermeasure is to purchase all base paper with a unified width (1600mm). If five layers of paperboard are produced, the longitudinal slitting specification and material quantity can be reasonably calculated according to the specification of the paperboard, and the leftover materials can be used as splicing sandwich. For example:

the cardboard is 590mm wide, and 1000 five-layer cardboard are produced. Then, the inner paper can be cut by 500 knives, and divided into two 590mm pieces and one 400mm piece longitudinally. Cut the core paper by 250 knives, and cut it into two pieces of 590mm and two pieces of 200mm longitudinally. When mounting glue, 400mm and 200mm shall be spliced into 500 pieces of sandwich

the width of the cardboard is 700 mm. After the oil pipe, power supply and oil filling are connected, the preliminary operation and test run are carried out to produce 1000 pieces of five ply cardboard. Then, the inner paper can be cut by 500 knives and vertically divided into two pieces of 700mm and one piece of 180mm. The core paper was cut by 389 knives, of which 167 knives were cut longitudinally into two 700mm sheets, one 180mm sheet, and 222 knives were cut longitudinally into three 530mm sheets. When mounting glue, 180mm and 530mm shall be spliced into 666. If there is still something unknown, it is a sandwich

note: any size of cardboard can be fully utilized as long as the surplus material is above 10mm. Of course, the surplus material below 10mm is only wasted. As a new independent high-performance electric vehicle brand facing the future of the company, it is worth reminding that the large or small end of the splicing must have 10mm exposed tiles (when the single-sided machine is operated, the two ends of the base paper and tile paper can be staggered by 10 to hoe to the field mm). When mounting glue, the big end and the small end must overlap by 10mm, and the overlapping part can only be within 10mm of the exposed tile, and it can only be two splices and one joint. The indentation lines of the rocker cover shall be staggered as far as possible during calculation. In this way, the surface paper will not expose the contact mark, nor will it affect the vertical compressive strength of the paperboard. If it is a three-layer paperboard, the excess leftover materials can be rewound by manual rewinding method, and then re cut for splicing when producing five layers of paperboard

secondly, reduce the cost of adhesive. In the production of corrugated board with single-sided machine, adhesive is the most critical. To reduce the cost of adhesive, we must first choose the starch adhesive with lower cost. Then in the type of starch adhesive, select the adhesive with strong viscosity and small amount of use. Generally speaking, the cost of composite adhesive (commonly known as mature glue) can be controlled at about three cents per square meter of five layers of paperboard
